- "In The Zone" makes Britney break her own record of debuts in #1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart, now being 4 debuts at #1 in a row by a female artist in Soundscan history.
- "In The Zone" is the 5th highest selling album in its first week by a female artist, top 5 also includes Britney holds the #1 (1.319 million for Oops! ... I Did It Again 5/09/00) and #3 (745,744 for Britney (11/06/01).
- "In The Zone" debut almost doubled the 2nd possition, G-Unit's "Beg for Mercy" with 327,000 copies.
- "In The Zone" sales decline from previous album "Britney" was only of 5% counting the 13% of the general music market sales from 2001 to 2003, what shows a strong fan base.
- The exact Soundscan sales figues for 2003 (up to Dec. 28th) is 1,580,000 units.
- On its 9th week Britney had the pleasure of selling more records last week than she did the week before, the only top-20 artist to do so. In the Zone sales jumped 11 percent, or roughly 5,300 copies, to propel Spears' fourth album from #16 to #11.
